Less expensive and faster shipping are the most common requests from our family of customers. We’ve been working hard on both, and are proud of our "Fast Max" program (excludes tomato products). We now offer “2 tier” shipping. If your order fits into a USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelope, you’ll only pay $5 – larger orders will be shipped in boxes via UPS or USPS.
The Sciabica family likes to ensure every item arrives as quick and safely as possible. However, some items, like our tomato products and 1 gallon containers, require much larger and secure packaging. These items may be shipped separately from other items via UPS ground with added padding. Please expect an additional 2 to 3 days for delivery.
How long does it really take?
The Sciabica Family is committed to providing quick, friendly service. In most cases, orders placed before noon PST ship the same day. However, in some cases, especially during the holidays, it may take up to 3 business days to ship. Keep in mind, shipping speed relates to “days in transit” and not total days to delivery. Therefore a 2-3 business days shipment could take up to 5 business days (2 before shipping and 3 for delivery). Also, for orders placed on Friday-Sunday, Monday is the 1st business day.
How does shipping to multiple address work?
Checking out is the most coumbersome part of the ordering process. Who wants to do it over and over? For your conveiniece, we have a system for shipping to multiple addresses in a single order. Keep in mind that it’s simply an easy way to create multiple orders at once. Though you’ll only receive one order number, each address will be treated like a separate order on our end, each with it’s own shipping charge.
What if I get something I don’t like?

Why do I have to pay shipping?
Unfortunately, shipping costs money. In fact, the Sciabica Family spends much more on shipping than we collect on orders. We have worked hard to get shipping as low as possible, but in order to offer “free shipping” we would have to raise prices. You’ll find that our direct competition is much more expensive, especially if they offer any form of free shipping. Keep in mind, shipping 1 bottle is quite expensive, but shipping 2, 3 or even 10 bottles adds very little, if anything to the shipping expense. If you can, group orders together with friends and family to save a bundle on shipping!
